Kaylee: Is that him? Mal: That's the buffet table. Kaylee: Well how can we be sure, unless we question it?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

God I hate that word.

There was a poster up near work with it FOREVER. For values of forever that equal longer than the Sherlock Holmes poster which is just the hottest poster to be out in a long time. Drove me bananas, as it embedded itself into my brain.

So now I have to inflict it on all and sundry.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

ita, did you watch Graham Norton this weekend, with Usher and Miley Cyrus? I think it was the most boring GN I've ever seen.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Regarding the adoption-custody case, I wonder if Lynch's wife, Lara Embry's, former partner, Kimberly Ryan, has surrendered parental rights to the daughter Embry gave birth to while they were together, and Ryan supposedly adopted? Has not seen--or attempted to see--her adopted daughter from the partnership? And the girls, raised as sisters from birth, have presumably not seen each other since the split?

Okay, that's Christian. In a way JZ's congregation would understand and approve. And which is totally un-Christ-like. How, humans, can we stray so far?

JZ, deep sympathies on the loss of a congregation and a church that has been so vital a part of your life for so long. It is shattering to lose the outward housing of one's foundations, even though those foundations made you who you are, made you strong, and survive despite the cracks running through the outward, physical edifice. I'm sorry.

Miley Cyrus was a big old YAWN. Usher was kinda cute, and the British guy seemed kinda sweet, but way too much Miley. I think the guest list was a result of the Iceland volcano messing up previous travel plans--having both Miley and Usher on together was weird.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Jesus, man. After Soldier's Girl this is what you do with your career? Seriously?

Not to mention The Fall and Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. (While I hated the former, I could at least see that a lot of thought went into its making, and it was ambitious.)

If I bumped into Pace on the street I think I'd praise his work and then ask if fans need to take up a collection for him so we don't end up seeing him in The Love Guru 2 or something similarly horrific.

Restore Lee Pace!

JZ, I know this is a decision you've struggled with for a long time, and I am sad that it has come to this. I hope you and the other departees can find or structure a much more congenial congregation.
