If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm so sorry JZ. I know how hard this must be for you, but maybe Newman Center is the better option. (As an aside, I didn't realize that was a thing - there was a Newman Center down the block from our house in Milwaukee.)

I can't keep track of Canadian cities!

Nah, you've got them pretty much down.

Oh, JZ, that's a shame. But you should definitely SAY something--forget the abortion thing and the rest, the welfare crack is just Not On. I mean, however you want to be preaching that sermon, and regardless of whether the subject matter is appropriate, whatever...that crack is just not right, and he needs to be called out.

Crazy? Irresponsible? Just tired of work?

Probably. But does that mean you shouldn't do it? Will you get in trouble? Will people be put out by you doing it, have to cover your classes, learn less, etc? Or are students already done/subs paid for (going to earn money for it!)/they were watching videos anyway?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

And the Pawz do help her with traction, although she doesn't need them every day. [link]

Hee! We do the just-rear-pawz too. Soooo cute.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I am not Catholic, and have no dog in this fight, but I can sort of work with abortion rhetoric because they say that it violates their beliefs. I disagree, but recognize the point as having some validity. The welfare thing, however, I cannot get behind, because social justice and caring for the less fortunate is a BASIC TENET of the religion. I think that you should definitely make a stink.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

For a second there I was wondering at Leverage let Aldis play hockey and do escrima during shooting, but then I remembered CK.

Effing Oklahoma, indeed.

CK's hair was likely trimmed but mostly it was just blown dry and styled last night. Plus it was sunny and hot yesterday so he didn't get that humidity poof that some people suffer from. Mine was nicely unpoofed too.

I skipped the video shoot because a. have you met me? and b. there was a racetrack to be at and racing wins. But I went to the show which ended up being the end of the shoot. The tape was just because he played guitar all day.

Aldis Hodge continues to be the most polite dude ever. And, yes, smoking hot.

Useless. Useless. Small. Shabby. Vile.

Oh, I am so sorry, JZ. It's awful to feel that a place you've loved has let you down so terribly.

And what Vortex said so well.

Swouncing

Skipping way too many posts because according to the Buffista Calendar today is one of those lovely days with a double Buffista birthday: it's javachick's birthday, as well as - according to Fone Bone "If the Apocalypse Comes, Beep Me" Jun 14, 2007 7:38:03 pm PDT - Dylan's.

Happy birthday, javachick! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Happy birthday, Dylan, you big boy! With lots of wishes to your mom, your dad and all your family!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

CK frequently has two fingers on his right hand bandaged. It may be a guitar thing?

I was thinking that, but I have no idea WTF.

The tape was just because he played guitar all day.

Oh, OK. But I still don't get how the tape helps.

aspirin, tylenol or advil

I take four advil fairly regularly, too, but Tylenol? A high dose of that stuff can make me giddy.

But the boy band look he's rocking now is cute.

My reaction to MGG's new hair was about the same as Hotch's. But it is cute!

I tried a Kong toy with him once, but he's a very direct little dog. He just chewed through the toy to the treat.

Awesome.

I'm sorry your church is causing you such heartache, JZ.

Happy birthday, javachik and Dylan!

It's 4am. I'm going back to bed, to not-sleep another couple hours. This is getting old. If I had the energy and focus to do anything while I was awake, the insomnia wouldn't be so annoying.

Blister protection. It's why you see some people all bloodied up after playing.

Okay for sleep now. For realz.
