I just got back from the Bevmo 5 cent sale.

Iiiiieeee! Did they have either the pink fizzy vodka or the Pinky vodka on sale? If so, I may plead and plead with you to go back, and then hang on to stuff for me.

I don't know. The 5 cent sale was for wine (buy one bottle, get one for 5 cents), but they had other stuff on sale. I could look. eta: Do you know the name of either.

Thanks to Matt H (who is awesome, by the way), I have a tv stand instead of a box! [link]

Franny is adorable, the little rocker!

OMG, it is awful out there. I nixed a 5 mile walk this morning, cause it was already something like 88 at 9 am and muggy as hell. I envisioned collapse. I've done it before, but later in to the hot season, when I'm better acclimated. Waited until lanes opened and swam...good thing I decided early, as I was leaving they decided to close in 10 minutes to clean it (needed it, was very murky.)

Briefly wandered through Honfest. They had a bunch of kids with dance routines on one of the stages. There was the cutest little girl, maybe 3 or 4, who did a little swimming dance thing, with complete confidence. Lots of good food there, but since I have plenty of food...good people watching. Came home and vacuumed. I'm losing the war against cathair.

I feel you, Perkins. I hit Bevmo on Friday. The 5-cent sale is worse than Target, but I figure it's an investment in the next few months of wine drinking.

Plus now I have even more reason to try to get people to come visit.

Pinky vodka is the name of one of them. (I'm not kidding. Pinky vodka.) The fizzy pink vodka thing is called Nuvo.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Father's Day gifts bought. YAY!

I surprised mac with a PS2 game when he got home, or rather I left it on his bed for him to find. It is a very low-key cute game with dogs and he is LOVING IT. YAY! So much better for his mood and development than the fighting games.

Nuvo is on sale, but only a dollar or two off--27.99 for the 750 ml and 18.99 for the 375. Pinky is on sale for $5.00 off, 24.99 for the 750, which is the only size they have.

Ooooh. Would you please pick me up a bottle of the Pinky? Because I have a clever plan for how to get it to me without shipping it.

I'm betting NONE of their absinthe (if they have any) is on sale, huh?
