What's the ecologically nice way to speed up slow drains?
I am about to buy a snake for my bathtub...plunging only gets me a few good days of drainage. When the plumber changed my taps in the bathroom sink, he said he took out a big clump of hair, and it now drains better than it ever has in the three years I've been in my place.
It's my bathroom sink, so I'm pretty sure there's nothing to plunge, unless there have been strange shenanigans in my absence.
I have baking soda and vinegar at home. If those don't work, I'll buy borax.
I tried black cod sushi for the first time last week, and I need to make a note--that was damned tasty. I don't remember having seen it on menus before, but I'll definitely pick it out again.
Have you had miso marinated black cod? It's unbeatable.

I have no idea how this black cod was prepared. It was definitely marinated in something before being made into sushi.
I want these shoes in a me-size: [link] I would contemplate them for Grace too.
Where do I find a cow in LA?
This week's European Journal has a segment on abandoned horses in Ireland. Apparently, since the economic crash, you can buy a horse in Dublin (there's even a winked-at illegal open-air market!) for little more than pocket change.
Didn't have anything on cows in LA, though.
Do they film Fringe in LA? Maybe you could get one from Walter's lab?
Is cuteoverload.com broken for anyone else? I just get a blank white page.
I have to buy a snake for my bathroom drains as well. The bathroom sink gets a dose of extra-strength Draino once a month because it keeps on slowing down, and the tub gets clogged up with hair quite often, although I try and clean it out.

It would have been cooked. Look for it, though.
