plants, want! 5 weeks. 5 weeks. I told my dad I want him to get some pumpkin seeds planted in a pot by the end of June so they can sprout before I get there. But mint, I am going to have lots of it I hope.

Maybe the thinning gave them enough room to bloom this year.
My irises just bloomed...from two years ago! I was so happy.
Go Blackhawks! This one`s for all the marbles. All y`all should watch this one, NBC right now.
The PowerPuff Girls musical episode is very similar sounding to OMWF and at times JCSS.
Heh, I saw those men's mag pics a while ago, and they are hysterical.
I think some of my morning glories and other flowers are starting to grow! YAY.
AND...we heard some good news about the house. We found out today that the bank that we are trying to get our house foreclosure stuff done through had D's income down as TWICE what he makes, so now that that's cleared up, things look so much better!
Well, I thinned in some places and denuded in others, so ?
The ivy is tenacious. It'd strangle everything and form a thick mat if I didn't constantly beat it back. Yes, it even was trying to strangle the mint, and would succeed without my intervention. Oh! The pineapple sage is flowering too.
Heh. Especially the man attacked by water!ferrets.
That picture appeared in a Battlestar Galactica game! [link]
I like that they followed up "Weasels Ripped My Flesh" with "Flying Rodents Ripped My Flesh". Flying squirrels are well known for their lust for human flesh. (And tendency to travel in packs.)
Oh, that is good news, Erin.
I was just out in my backyard dealing with the ivy, Sarameg. It's a fine balance, because I do like it on the fence in between my and my neighbor's backyards, but I do not like strangling my apple tree. Cayenne gets wildly upset and weird when I am out there hacking at the ivy - I think she likes hiding in it and it freaks her out that I am taking her awning away.
All of the rain the bay area got in the last few months is really paying off in terms of the growth! The apple tree is clearly going to give me as many apples as the Meyer lemon tree gave lemons.
