"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

The magic sandwich lady is amazing. I am sad when she's out. She lives (ok probably not) here [link] in the very bottom of my building. I get Turkey and swiss on toasted rye with lettuce tomatoes, pickles, onions, spicy mustard and bacon.

I'm just not sure if I want a sandwich today. I was thinking hot lunch sounded good, possibly something Asian, but I may have just talked myself into a sandwich.

She makes the best sandwiches I have ever had. Seriously they would worship her on Lamuella.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I just had rice. There is literally nothing else in the house. Ok, not really, but it feels like it. Combo of trying to eat down supplies, msbelle style, before we`re gone for the summer and also just us both being sick and out of it. So groceries today during the admin run (post office, bank, etc.) blargh. Need to at least get staples.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Chinese delivery for me. Cashew chicken. Amazingly good.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hmm. I brought my lunch from home today, but Chinese delivery sounds awfully good.

Oh my god, save me from nice nice people who "hate" Obama because he is ruining the nation. I don't understand what they think he is doing/causing.

Unemployment is high and not getting better. The stock market is flat. Afghanistan is a mess. He's not doing enough to protect the border (look Arizona had to act since he hasn't done anything about it). He's running huge deficits. The Federal response to the oil spill has been ineffective. He gave away billions to the banks and GM and it hasn't had any effect. Health care reform is going to put into effect a bunch of new taxes. It's pretty easy to say he's been an almost total fail. Not saying it's fair, but he's the pres.

I think all of those are fairly debatable, but on the surface it looks bad.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Gud- that actually make "sense"-- I mean not those actual things, but from my perspective Obama has:1) Not moved fast enough or enough enough to repeal DADT as promised 2) appointed a Supreme Court nominee that has questionably conservative positions on abortion and race 3) Not shut down Guantanemo as promised and 4) not given us single payer healthcare.

So to me, a liberal, much of what he has done is far too conservative, so it is weird to me to see conservatives get upset. I am sympathetic with why he hasn't/couldn't do those things, but I really wanted someone to go in there and just change everything.

Deficit hawks in congress are more responsible for quite a few of those problems as well.
