Yay for paying off debt!
I am not a positive thinker.

Yay for paying off debt!
I am not a positive thinker.
I prefer pools to lakes, and I don't swim in the ocean.
I am also not a positive thinker.
I am not a positive thinker.
I am only in the sense that I'm positive bad things are going to happen.
I think I embraced that old saw "an optimist can never be pleasantly surprised".
Woohoo paying off debt! My brother is selling a nearly new car that he offered me for a good price but not one I could take on w/out a loan. I declined and am hoping my car will last another couple of years (at least until after the freaking condo sells). I'm totally spoiled for not having car payments!
I'm not exactly a negative thinker but I'm a worrier (who tries to be positive).
People tend to accuse me of being unreasonably optimistic, but really it's because I've already considered the worst case scenario and figured out a workaround.
Sorry, I missed the Census question from earlier. Your local enumerator has a Crew Leader, who reports to a Field Office Supervisor and on up the chain of command. (The people who designed the bureau evidently had lots of military experience. Only they LIKE forms more than the Army does, impossible though it seems.)
If you go to this page:
you'll be able to drill down far enough to find the right local office to complain to. However, if you give your address, the national/regional office is going to be able to look up their own records and figure out which enumerator/crew leader is getting complained about.
My boss and I are constantly doing that! What would we do if this elevator started to plummet.
She and I alone from my office will survive the zombie apocalypse.
Yay for elimination of debt.
An astrologer once looked at my chart and declared that I was blindly optimistic in the face of certain disaster. Called that one right.
Thanks, Connie! The Crew Leader that called me today was a TOTAL DB. He has been reported for his DB-ery.
Having read msbelle's posts on the topic, I realize that I don't have a good understanding of what the term "positive thinking" really means. I've always thought of it in that kind of oversimplified "smile is the best medicine" school of thought.
I think of myself as kind of a realist-optimist, if that makes sense.
I'm not exactly a negative thinker but I'm a worrier (who tries to be positive).
I see worriers and negative thinking differently. Worrying is more about trying to control for factors outside one's control.
