I don't like vampires. I'm gonna take a stand and say they're not good.

And there was less shooting at for my kid, given where he was based.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The start of this week's Criminal minds is cracking me up, gven how many of the actors I follow on twitter.

Yeah, I posted that while they were still on the plane.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What the hell, the Kaiser Permanente Thrive lady is Allison Janney? I had no idea.

Huh, I just thought it was an extremely talented voiceover person. Because, man, she sells whatever mood they're peddling.

Obligatory Pause to Note: I went to college with her.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just spent three hours skyping my sister and second cousin and cousin's friend. It was a return to the raunch that I said I'd been missing. Poor cousin's friend peeped up every now and again with "how did you do that?" Because when we throw anecdotes around, it sounds random wild. And we barely covered any time at all. Nice to F2F with the sister (she's so proud of me, it's weird she gets to antsy when I brag on her) and also cool to see the cousin--I used to live with her for a while when I just moved to the US. She's now grown with husband and kids, but we interact like when we were teens.

I hope my cousin comes out to visit soon. I'm skeered of the east coast. I want her here. I don't know where to go to get into trouble, but I want some, dammit. Headaches be cursed.

That sounds awesome, ita.

You should come up here. We could find you some trouble

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

ita, touching in again sounds awesome.

sarameg, work stress is sucky for me because I always think I should be able to leave it at work and I rarely can.

I just caught up on Glee. I have to say Idina Menzel as Rachel's mom is perfect and eerie and damn her voice is beautiful. Their duet was perfect. I thought that NPH was fantastic. This episode was very Joss. The highs and lows weren't totally ridiculous and soap-operatic and everyone was so human. Why can't Joss direct it all the time? And take care of arc?

Also also, the Artie/Tina part was lovely and poignant and just right. Even though there was the typical Gap-ad everyone on stage singing final number, this one was so small and beautiful and perfect and sad. And I loved it. Anyone else see it?

Apparently I have no ass and cocksucking lips. These are things I feel very old to discover. On the other hand, I have said yes a lot. And no a couple notable times.

You promise trouble, Perkins? I just need to get a travel schedule where I can still get pain meds...
