Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So sorry to hear about Zoe, Pix. I know she'll be missed.

The status is NOT quo.

Thanks, everyone. It's a hard night for us both. We loved her a lot, and it was very sudden. We are grateful she had a long, happy life and very grateful this happened before we leave next Monday. It's still heartbreaking, of course.

During the chaos of rushing to the vet, our three-legged senior cat Byron got out. He needs to come home now so we can go to sleep and stop worrying.

Our wings are not tired.

Byron, you little bratty mcbratty, get back to your home so that Kristin and Drew can get some sleep! Now, kitty!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am so sorry about Zoe, Pix and ND. I am glad Byron came home, though.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Sorry about Zoe, Pix.

Woke up this morning, looked at my clock and freaked because it said 7:10. (The alarm's supposed to go off at 6:30) Nudged G, who told me his clock said 6:10. His was accurate. I have no idea how my clock got set ahead. (Turns out the month, day and year were also wrong. Sheesh)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Because you guys deserve multi-thread hugs.

ION, this bullet point in the "things we're working on" email from our dev team made me laugh this morning:

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Pix & Drew - so sorry.

It seems like it has been an unusually rough patch for the board these last few months. A lot of loss and health scares. I wish the whole board could go in their own way to some restorative retreat experience.
