Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ooh, Guillotine! That's fun. So is Apples to Apples. (especially if you play it with people you know, and try to play to the judge that way). There's a kids' version out there, as well.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yahtzee Jr? How hard is Yahtzee Sr?

My Leverage water bottle got a laugh in the break room based on nothing but the quote ("Geek power baby. Stay strong."). I'm pretty sure he didn't recognise the show, because he didn't mention it. Still not taking it to meetings, though. Only for peers.

It's more that it is fun with the pictures (and there is no scoring to do). Sadly, the original Mickey Mouse version is out of print and you mostly only find movie tie-in versions.

Good to know my Guillotine set is not a collector's item. No. wait.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Guillotine from Wizards of the Coast is another favorite,

Playtesting that thing was a PAIN.

So is Apples to Apples. (especially if you play it with people you know, and try to play to the judge that way).

This was proven over the weekend when a friend won the round I was judging by playing the "Count Dracula" card.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Playtesting that thing was a PAIN.

I'll bet, given the heated Rules discussions on BGG.

Apples to Apples is one of the few party games I don't like, specifically because of its subjectivity.

Does anyone else remember having the Which Witch? board game? That was one of my favorites in my pre-teen years, although it took forever to set up.

I'm trying to think what the controversy could possibly be, but maybe I'm just not remembering the game very well.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ooh, Harry Potter Clue! That sounds fun. I don't think the boy has gotten into Harry Potter yet. That might be something to read together this summer.

Do you think it's too scary for an 8 yo? The movie version, I mean.
