Now tagless for your comfort.

The Ice Sculptures ARE awesome, but the night I was there it was like -40. I wanted to die. It was 91 here today though.... Harbin's weather certainly runs the gamut.

We had four inches of snow AND 90 degree temperatures in the month of May! And we're fighting off the mosquitos, too, so I feel your pain.

I woke up from a nap (yay!) to a sinus headache (boo.)

The status is NOT quo.

Welcome, former New Englander! We should really form a club. I vote Megan the president.

I need to get motivated to grade these final exams. They're just staring at me with their beady little eyes.

The status is NOT quo.

My cats are not evil! They are sweet and affectionate, and their eyes are lovely and luminous. Poor deluded woman.

Leave msbelle alone, creepy guy!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So apparently the YMCA doesn't do memberships over the phone. Which means I have to go outside again. Where the heat is. Don't wanna. Waaaaaaaaah.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It is nice outside here, if you like hot and muggy! I am trying to appreciate it...

I just had the most exciting trip to the library ever: First, there was a sign outside that they were having a sale today. Then, when I got inside, there was a HUGE argument going on! Exciting! It was two guys, one of whom was yelling swears and the other of whom was trying to talk quietly to the library guard. This girl next to me was like, You know, I think I'm on the side of the crazy guy! Apparently the quieter guy had apologized to the crazy guy by name at some point... Turns out, apparently they were arguing over a bottle of vodka. Eventually, the actual cops came, asked the quiet guy if he had the vodka, he said yes, the cop took it out of his bag (a large-sized plastic bottle), walked outside, and poured it out. Problem solved! It was kind of hilarious, because the cop had literally no interest in whatever was going on between the two guys.

So then I got four books and one CD for $4, and took out The Pillow Book (the original), thanks to Sady Doyle.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just went to Best buy, and boughtthis TV (but at less than that price) and a bunch of other stuff.

I don't think I'm allowed to take my credit card out of the apartment again for a very long time.
