You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The Ice Sculptures ARE awesome, but the night I was it was like -40. I wanted to die.

Well, there is that. Still, given that kind of weather, I'd like there to be ice sculptures.

So what brought you to Harbin?

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

I got a scholarship to study Chinese!! So I more or less just got sent here. But I'm at Heilongjiang University, and... yeah. Just hanging out and learning Chinese.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It's about three million degrees in NYC today. I may melt.

Good thing I made ice cream this morning! (More of a sherbet actually - I took what was left of my strawberry-rhubarb shortcake filling, added what was left of the cream, blended until smooth and dumped it in the ice cream maker. Improvisation = noms.)

That is quite awesome. (My wife is Chinese. I know about enough Chinese to tell when she's talking smack about me. I love the language, though. I was sold when I discovererd the Chinese for penguin is 'goose standing upright'.)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Welcome zuisa, with your mad scholarship-getting-skillz. Vampires, TWOP AND learning cool stuff--you clearly were meant to be a Buffista!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hi, zuisa! Where did you go to Harbin from?

Everyone said he was surprisingly short.

ita says that's most celebs she's seen.

The funniest is celebs that complain that other celebs are short, while you're staring eye-level at them...

There is a loud power tool of some sort going on outside my window. This is not fair.

Maybe I will leave the house after all. Maybe boots will happen, and some drinks from World Market.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

If kat is around or anyone else know what size the twins are in now? I'm at a sale and they have lots of kid stuff cheap.

Because books.

They look like 2T to me in pictures, msbelle, but I could be really off.

Thanks again everyone!

Yes, Chinese is pretty awesome, I think!

I originally hail from Massachusetts. Went to school in Minnesota. Four months in Utah..... I move a lot =)

Our wings are not tired.

Welcome, zuisa!

All the sweet potato recipes are going to force me to buy some. Love them all ways that aren't real sweet. Yum.

I'm going to try and not go outside today. Except maybe the pool. Hit 100 yesterday. Yikes. 91 at the moment.
