Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My apartment IS like an oven!

Also, I need some lovin’!

That's what I thought!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

In random news, I just realized I always thought the first line of "Sexual Healing" is "My apartment's like an oven," and....it's not.

And the world is poorer for it.

My favourite misheard song lyric is "There ain't no girl like the One-Eyed Gott."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was like, how could she mistake that, clearly the first words are "I've been feeling fine, sugar!"

Also not true!!

information libertarian

Okay, I should stop now. I have no Marvin Gaye cred at all (except my mom played Marvin Gaye and Tammy Terrell albums when I was tiny.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

there was a link to the FAQ about the BBoC on a Television Without Pity Vampire Diaries recap

That's one of Cindy's shows, right? I remember her mentioning the link a while back.

Anyway, welcome!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Welcome, Zuisa!

It's not very hot here (we may break 80, but I doubt it), but it's muggy and gross enough for it to be a costco mini-dress day.

Thanks for all the sweet potato ideas. My CSA lets me choose what fruits and veggies I want, and I've looking forward to the sweet potatoes, but I've never really cooked them myself.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

all reports is that outside is hot and gross. I've been doing household chores trying to get as much done before the babysitter arrived. Mixed up some more laundry detergent and that finished off a box of Borax and a large refill bottle of Ivory liquid soap.

Had pancakes for breakfast and finished a jar of preserves.

2 loads of laundry are in and the dishes are washed.

I am going to order them a pizza and head out.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm partial to sweet potato fries.

Last night I scooped out the guts of some campari tomatoes, stuffed them with fresh mozzorella and topped them with fesh basil. Then put them on the grill for a few minutes.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

I personally am not Genghis Khan, but my roommate is indeed Mongolian. So, that's close, yeah?? And I do think Harbin is lovely and fascinating, but most of the other foreigners here with me don't agree.

My room is an oven too, so my sympathies to everyone. There's no screen in our window, so we're alternating between AAAH OMG MELTING and AAAAAH ATTACK OF THE KILLER MOSQUITOS.

It's fun times.

Also, sweet potato fries are amazing.
