"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This is part of why I rarely want to chat while I'm getting my hair cut.

Don't you look into the mirror to make eye contact with the stylist?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Happy Birthday, Dana!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This is Garcia from Criminal Minds, although she's a redhead now. She's a dropout hacker that was recruited by the FBI and supports the Behavioural Analysis Unit. She's a former Goth, IIRC, and is massively but not irritatingly quirky and keeps the sunshine quotient up in a hella dark show.

And, yeah, Alec is Hardison. Watch Leverage! He's just everything geek. It's nice to see there are so many socially ept geeks to pick from, but he's over-ept. His problem is that he doesn't stop working the crowd, when he really should. But it's cute on him.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Not Jesse, but without my glasses on I can only see about three inches in front of my face.

Punishingly Intricate

I'm always having to ask Bob to move his hand from in front of his mouth so I can hear him. Stupid rock and roll (not really, the deafness is worth it).

Oh!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, they do look a lot alike!

Not Jesse, but without my glasses on I can only see about three inches in front of my face.

That.

I have this too. I often fall asleep while I'm getting my hair did.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Me, too. Which is a pain when my cat jumps on my chest, decides that my glasses are in desperate need of marking with her chin, and completely messes up my lens by rubbing her face all over them.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Happy birthday Dana!

At work, I used to try to not wear jeans, but I have given up that ghost. I wear tshirts with odd slogans or universities or the school's stuff itself.

This week I wore dress pants with a blouse on two days, jeans today (it would have been dress pants today but Grace puked on me. yay.) and then my pink gingham junta shirt, a skirt and cowboy boots.

So I guess there is NO dress code.

Our wings are not tired.

But it's cute on him.

Isn't everything cute on him? I've only seen Garcia a couple times because I don't really watch the show. So Hardison gets my vote.

We have no dress code at our office and in the summer barely there tank tops and short shorts are perfectly acceptable. If we have to go to a client office we make ourselves decent but still find jeans and a company shirt works well enough. Florida casual.
