Punishingly Intricate

My one denim skirt is just above my knees. It's kind of perfect and I haven't been able to find any others that work so well on me. So I have the one. Thank god it still fits.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I've been wanting a not-too-tight denim pencil skirt for a while now, but haven't found one to buy yet.

Hey, anyone had experience with hyperthyroidism? I'm on thyroid meds (Cytomel, 38.5 mcg once daily) and on a hunch I looked up the symptoms. They include mood swings, anxiety, irritability (HELLO), palpitations, and dizziness, all of which I've been having (more than normal) in the last few days if not longer. Just called doc's office to see about scheduling a TSH test, which I was due anyway, waiting to hear back.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I am so glad Tino is still Tino. It would break my heart a little if he weren't. He's so special.

Stay classy, Tino!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

anyone had experience with hyperthyroidism

I'm on a suppressive dose of synthroid that makes me a tad hyperthyroid. Those symptoms are very common. Sounds like you need to adjust your meds down a little.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got my two denim skirts off ebay. It's a marvel they worked out so well.

I feel I should have them in all lengths. One shorter, too short for work, one to the knees, and one granny length, at the very least. I like skirts in all lengths.

I just like clothes. I need a new closet.

Because books.

I just like clothes. I need a new closet.

Me, too. And yet I just looked at everything I have and thought, There is nothing I want to wear here. Which includes a couple shirts I bought just two weeks ago.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm wearing a sundress with criss-crossed straps in back, which I just realized almost perfectly frame one of my tattoos.

Ooh, nice.

I'm wearing this dress. [link] It's probably the first time I've worn a dress to work in a year. Dunno why.

(Picture is from my scary ass training session last week - full day training for 60-some people none of whose first language is english. Oy.)

I am so glad Tino is still Tino. It would break my heart a little if he weren't. He's so special.

I also suspect that he is Hil's adviser.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

You know, if someone's unreachable by phone or e-mail, you can just corner them in person. A little pain infliction might straighten out the situation.
