pick your favorite cupcake day may be my new favorite day

Ugh, I tried for the last hour to go to sleep with that stupid TMJ retainer in my mouth. I feel like I am all swole up with tongue. It's so goddamn distracting, and I have a hard enough time falling asleep without a thing in my mouth.

UGH.

That is one sexy banker.

I had stuff to say but I was distracted by the cupcakes. And by cupcake I decidedly do not mean porn, I mean pastry.
 
Oh, no, I remember. I will photograph the pretty pretty dress next time I get all dolled up. I have cute shoes too. I wear it pretty often. Well, often for someone who does not generally wear skirts. The color is not technically right for me either but it really works. I bet it`ll even improve with my inevitable summer tan.
 
I made it to rehearsal and to my commitment after! It was pretty rough going; a double rehearsal, but I did ok, especially considering I didn`t get the lead sheets until tonight, and hadn`t ever heard two of the songs. I have absolutely no resonance, but my pitch was ok except when my ears went (popping). And I needed my breath control techniques whoo doggy because my lung capacity was so diminished. But I made it through. No descants; my range is way less. But I could tell I was past the nodes damaging bit of my cold, this was all coughing upper chest stuff. So I could sing! And I think I`ll be ok, at least passable, for the memorial service. Even if I don`t make church, I should be able to be there for my buddy.

Should I watch SYTYCD? If it`s too late for Natter to make all my decisions for me it`s probably too late for me to start watching a two hour show, huh? But I have work and extra vocal rehearsals and a three hour hockey game to watch tomorrow. And Saturday is crammed; I won`t even have time to feed the dog. And Sunday we have church and people over for more hockey and a conference call.
 
I better watch now. I`ll put the live tv on music in case I fall asleep.

Skipping my by-this-time-too-usual-4-digits-skip because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is a double Buffista event: it's both Dana's birthday as well as (according to flea "If the Apocalypse Comes, Beep Me" Jun 4, 2005 3:46:56 pm PDT ) Ellie's birthday.
