with Magic Johnson. Isn't he the enemy???
You're on the East Coast, yes? YES! You are evil and should be shut down.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I'll eventually watch Leverage. Everyone I know is watching it and making geebly noises at me.
I am still proud of myself for not fangirling out at Gerard Way at ComicCon last year. I talked to him as a reasonable adult! I did not shriek, flail, or blurt out things like "OHMYGODYOUAREEVENCUTERTHANYOURPHOTOS".
The next test will be if I can manage not to do that if I meet Adam Lambert. (Which there is a faint possibility of, even. Because I know people who know people.)

I am in Actual Boston, and the Celtics are about to BRING IT.
Heh. I could not work out why Magic was bad.
Obviously I will always try out anything John Rogers does that he recommends (so no Core or Catwoman), and, really my 20 year faith in his talent has been pretty well born out. But I always liked him for his tastes. I just had no idea he'd get this big a fucking stage.
Forgive me. I'm in the midst of a huge Montreal nostalgia-fest right now. I miss people.
I totally watched Leverage for Timothy Hutton. I did slightly freak out at Eric Idle, but I'm sure I would totally freak when faced with Timothy Hutton.
BEAT L.A.
(Not that I'm actually watching tonight's game.)
I would really like to have bedtime be smooth for like 5 straight days. really. the day was lovely otherwise.
Gerard Way
Lord, if I ever met G-way or Frank Iero, I hate to think. Staring slackjawed, geebling, or running away.
I did manage to talk to Margaret Cho like a normal person, but then I had five days to chill out.
I'm on break from class right now. We just paired off and did a little one-on-one reference interview with a classmate. I started off with trying to find info on the discovery of Ardi (australopithecine older than Lucy), which Eric (classmate) knew nothing about, but he got me just what I was looking for. Then, taking off from that topic, he asked me for info on a French woman who makes life models of early hominids whom he'd seen on a PBS documentary at some point.
I was scrambling looking for just the right search term for what she does, and ended up stumbling across her personal website after finally typing into Google "hominid sculpture". I was feeling like such an incompetent librarian before I found the info!
