This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The HVAC guy is in my crawlspace, and I hope well on his way to returning me to the Blessed Land of Cool.

You should trap him in the crawlspace. Send him food periodically in exchange for him maintaining your HVAC.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What's the last thing that made you smile?

Waking Matilda up this morning, she stretched and worked her lips and announced that her mouth was stuck. This happens in the morning. Stuck mouth - it can happen to you.

I'm feeling anxious about The Bangkokalypse. I kind of want The Shoveler and The Bowler to show up in a Herkimer Battle Jitney and settle things down. Maybe use the Blamethrower.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

ugh. how is it already 11:15?!? I have to eat my lunch soon and it seems to early. I keep forgetting to eat early enough and then leave at 1:40 and am starving when I get home.

Today's lunch, pinto beans and rice.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

By my standards, Zenkitty's ex does not have all that much stuff and it's beautifully arranged.

At the time of the photo, there were several boxes still to be unpacked. I think it's the quality not the quantity that freaks people out. He is really good at arranging displays.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

The last thing that made me smile was having my cat jump onto the bathroom sink to watch me scrub my face and brush my teeth. I have a slow-running drain in that sink (have to pick up some Draino on the way home tonight), so there was some water still in the sink when the cat dangled her tail in it. Then the silly thing didn't bother to pull it out of the water right away, and instead splashed it around some.

Goof.

Because books.

The last thing that made me smile was the kitten *galloping* up to meet me when I got home from the doctor this morning. He actually gallops! And makes a hell of a lot of noise doing. He also herds, weirdly. I think he was a shepherd in another life.

Punishingly Intricate

My cat Swifty totally galloped up the stairs today, stopped, and meowed very urgently at me. I'm not sure what that was about. He'd already had all his meds and his food.
