Gah, can't sleep. My director had enough and resigned this morning. I've been in a quiet state of panic all afternoon. Reeling between depression, anger (though not at him, yet), fear, and relief.
On the plus side, everyone at work was really extra nice to me and called in favors to get some outside help to get us ready for the big fundraiser this Saturday.
And I still need to get to the store to buy a summer cocktail dress and shoes. And get my car to the garage before the timing belt fails.
Oh, I also almost got into a car accident. On the plus side, there was nobody behind me when I went from 40 to 0 mph in two seconds. On the minus side, my coffee spilled all inside my shoe.
