And now this show is talking to Gov. Schwarzenegger about why the schools are in such bad condition. Specifically asked who's to blame for the school falling apart and being infested with rodents and things. Arnold answered labor, special interests, lack of parent involvement, and then there was a weird edit, and then he said, "and the government."
I wish I could trust shows like this to stick with basic journalistic standards. I want to learn something here, but I don't trust the edits.
I've been feeling progressively worse all day, and I was getting pretty woozy waiting in line at the register so I could buy Greek yogurt, and some sake for to make stir fry this weekend. I just got home from work and took my temperature. I have a fever. Probably shouldn't have gone to work today, huh. At least I didn't try going to the gym?
Here's hoping they're able to remove your sister's gall bladder safely without the need for wider surgery, Trudy.
Marathon tomorrow: [link] Probably will see the half marathoners at 9 miles on the way to the market, and leaders of the full marathon on the way home, at the 22 mile mark. Probably have to dodge them to cross 33rd....
Yeah, I already incurred the medical costs. I had TWO DAYS uninsured (but I was told I was insured) and I hit up the ER. Fucking annoying. So I'm shelling out for the COBRA to cover the gap.
OK, got it now. Sorry. I'm a skipperskimmer with cause today, dang it!
I hope the surgery is safe and effective for your sister, Trudy.
Beets and squash are roasted, and apple-pear crisp is baking. Now that the oven is back on. I apparently turned the whole thing off instead of turning the timer off. Oops.
Jesse, can I have some of your apple-pear crisp?
