Couch-to-5K is what screwed up my feet to the point where I may no longer wear high heels. That said, I think the problem (Morton's Neuroma) had started before, but running put it critical.
Every now and then I still feel like I have a rock inside my shoe, except that the rock is inside my foot.
I've walked 5Ks before, and very much enjoyed it.
I am considering Couch-to-5K, but before I begin I want to see how far/long I can run before I feel like I'm going to die.

I just need more exercise, and running is faster than walking and doesn't involve transportation to a swimming pool, and my kids' school does a 5K fundraiser in March, which would be good motivation.
I love improv above all forms of comedy...but I will not participate. I will not suggest, I will not get up on stage and be your arms, I will not tell you about my day. FUCK OFF. Don't make eye contact with me, don't put the mike in my face. Just, fucking, no.
Most of my free time in Montreal that wasn't in a bar or a dojo was in a theatre or comedy club, and I think I was pretty clear across the city that I was not talking to you until the curtain came down.
The Onion article was
perfect.
I can walk a 5K easily. I do that almost every day. Sadly, that hasn't led to any weight loss. Hence running.

CRAP. I totally would, but that's the day of my niece's 2nd birthday party!
Scariest American haunted houses.
Wow. On the one hand, those fascinate me. They sound amazing!
On the other hand, I'm not even clicking the embedded videos to see the ads for them, because I am easily startled, freaked out, and scared. Aaaaand I'm going to Halloween Horror Nights one night we're in L.A. I may never sleep again.
Timelies all!
I am now 0-for-2 in finding black pumps at Easy Spirit. I asked about 6 or 7 different shoes, and only 1 was available in my size. It was too tight. (My size is 6 1/2 D, or 6 1/2 W at Easy Spirit. And if the shoe is too pointy in the toe, it won't fit. I hate my feet.)
On the other hand, I picked up a travel sized tube of Photo Finish. While I was in Sephora I saw something that I decided to buy for a friend who I was going to see next weekend at a con. Alas, she isn't able to come after all, so I need to see if there's someone who can bring it back to her.

I will make sure you have excellent handlers traveling through the mazes with you.
Huh. There's a new show that's like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, except they renovate schools. I'm uncertain about it so far. The stuff they're doing is good, but almost all of it is stuff that shouldn't have to rely on private donations at all. And they're redoing a science classroom and lab, but they haven't said yet whether they're going to provide anything for restocking the supplies.
