So Emmett and I had this conversation on the way home after parking the car and I think Buffistas will appreciate it.

Emmett: [Blah blah]...only cool people get to do it.
Me: I'm cool!
Emmett: You are vainglorious.
Me: Nuh uh. I was being ironic.
Emmett: No, you were being boastful and you didn't care what anybody else thought about it. Lawyered! And definitionized!
Me: Okaaaaay. On another subject, I'm glad you took care of that backlog of Bio homework.
Emmett: My teacher was deprecating me, but I totally ameliorated that situation.
Me: Uh....Hey look! A Puggle!
Emmett: There's a paucity of puggles.
Me: Are you just using all your vocabulary words from last week in a sentence?
Emmett: I didn't even know what "ameliorate" meant last week!

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I'm afraid it could obscure some of the instruments.

I've never actually seen one mounted on the pushrod like that. More usual is to velcro it to the middle of the yoke. Still easy to see, and doesn't cover up any other display.
