Don't you just love this party? Everything's so fancy, and there's some kind of hot cheese over there.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Hey, Daisy, have you been to the Loft? Eisley is playing there November 27.

Yep. Saw Billy Idol at the Palladium (It's bigger sister venue) not too long ago. Plenty of parking. Easy access from Public trans. Plus close to Southside which has some fun stuff.

I remember Eisley from way back in their Dallas Observer Music Award days!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Once upon a time I wouldn't have Ced Abby, but she's out now. F Lainie, and definitely M Garcia, goddess that she is.

Huh. I have not taken lunch yet. Must address.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

My daughter thinks I should be a witch for Halloween. I tend to agree with her.

F Stephen Colbert, C Anderson Cooper, M Jon Stewart. Although I have to say, it was hard to decide on that one.

F Seth Green, C David Boreanaz, M Alexis Denisof. Which, now that I think of it, kind of amounts to "What Would Willow Do?"

I don't know how I feel about this. Well, definitely lose the buttercream. That's always the first step.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Also lose the cupcake - what's wrong with a muffin-sized pumpkin tart?

[eta: Or lose the pie crust and just make it a cupcake w/ a pumpkin pie center. But I don't understand the need for both a cupcake AND pie crust.]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But cupcakes are good!

eta: And pie crust is the best part of pumpkin pie (well, with a little filling on it)

Because books.

Well, definitely lose the buttercream. That's always the first step.

This must be a language I don't understand.

It's the language of ganache.

Why am I still at my desk?

Addressing now.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I would be willing to try the pumpkin pie cupcake as presented to find out if there is some sort of synergy going on. I'm not sure my imagination is up to the task.
