Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have to go to bluefly.com and window shop my dress for the MLK wedding. What sort of clothing you looking at for MLK in NY?

Also, what's Vancouver gonna do me at Halloween? Leather coat, or wool coat?

I looked up Virgin Am flights to Boston for Christmas. For some reason, they leap from roughly $500 on the 17th to $1100-1200 starting on the 18th. The other airlines are a bit more reasonable, so I have no idea why they are being so ridiculous about it.

Great news, Perkins!

On the birthday front, today's mostly sucked. Today, I:

1) had a migraine that required 2 pills at work.

2) ran into technical difficulties that slowed work to a snail's pace.

3) picked up X-rays and referral at my dentist's office only to discover that his partner marked me for 4 wisdom teeth to extract rather than 2. Note that at no point has anyone mentioned to my face that I need the top two out. And I've already scheduled and budgeted for two with the oral surgeon.

4) came home to discover that my building's maintenance guy has taken my TV remote control thinking it was to the TV he just swapped out the other day; and

5) received a jury duty summons for next month.

Can I be 40 again instead?

I decree yes. It is my birthday wish for you.

Oy, Matt. I'd wish you a belated happy birthday, but I think I'll wish you a Good God Y'all, Thursday Had Better Do Right By You day.

yes, they're spy-lite, and it's annoying. They need to have more edge.

I was talking about this with Dana today, and to be honest, I was expecting a little more Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and what I'm getting is family friendly and rated G. That seems to be working for some people, but I've got a lot of TV to watch and a low threshold for boredom.

I didn't have a terrible day, but it was crazy busy, I went to the gym, I hauled home 15 pounds of vegetables, I went to the pharmacy, I kept getting a little woozy after the gym from too much exercise combined with Mucinex and Sudafed, and the dinner I made wasn't ready to eat until 10pm. Tiiired.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

and to be honest, I was expecting a little more Mr. & Mrs. Smith

This is exactly what is missing for me. I hadn't thought of it in those terms, but that's precisely it.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I agree. I liked M & M Smith, dammit.

ita, I like the color and cut of the Gouwer, but you'd have to try to see if those hip ruches made you look va-va-voom or simply hippy.

The Azria, I like the drape and neckline a lot; again, a try on to make sure those bands don't hit in an awkward place on the ribcage and foof you up.

Michka I thought was kinda boring.

The Mattox could be lovely.

You are going to Vancouver for Halloween? I like you lots, but I kinda hate you right now. /jealousbitch
