We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Yay for no cancer, Perkins!!

And I completely forgot to wish everyone a Happy Birthday! ::throws glitter willy-nilly::

And the department admin just walked around offering a to-go salad to everyone at their desks, which I took (guess it was leftover from a meeting today). Falls into the "raw veggies" category of food I'm allowed, and there is no dressing so I just get to munch.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

For a moment I thought I had missed something really big.

Yeah, no.

No Fair for us this year. Too much money that we need for the trip.

I am so tired and so over this migration. Why didn't they put in all the components before we moved everything over? Why does it now then become my job to scour through everything. Day 3 now. I feel like I'm in hell.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Now I really feel sorry for that girl's mom.

So my boss and I are doing work for a client's Saudi Arabia office. My boss was just about to tell them their database design didn't allow for a female employee to change her name if she got married, but then my boss noticed that all 120 employees in the Saudi office are men.

Also, did you know most workers in Saudi Arabia only have a one-day weekend?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Where did you get them? They sound darling.

I don't remember! I did a binge buy--skull and crossbones, camera lens, pinup girls (for a friend), and google is giving me no love.

Now I really feel sorry for that girl's mom.

Oh, god, yes. I wasn't exactly on the cusp of having children anyway, but that put the fear right into me.

Yay! For once I cheerfully can say "fuck cancer".
