Giles: Stop that, you two. Riley: He started it... Xander: He called me a bad name! I think it was bad; it might have been Latin.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am in form hell. Health Insurance forms for me and mac (total of 12 pages), then Psych eval forms for mac 1 page now to be followed by up to 10 more. I have to fill these all out, go over to my parents', scan them in and email them off.

I am not allowing myself TV, music, or to log into work until they are all done.

Before getting mac from school today I also need to mail a couple of packages and talk with my dad about how to pay them back and then get a mortgage on this house.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Why so quiet, interwebs? Perk up. Entertain me. I need stuff.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

...and I just ran out of internets. Plus I'm not busy at work.

I ran out too, but I'm on a plane about to take off, so there will be more when I get back.

Is your dog an Optimist or a Pessimist?

There are happy dogs that expect a good thing to happen, and then there are others who seem to have a case of the gloomies. Dogs can be classified as optimists or pessimists the same as humans, according to research from a team led by Michael Mendl.

not your mom's socks.

Extending the internets a little. Has someone already linked to the eLegs video? It's on youtube, but also on the Berkeley Bionics corporate site. Way cool: [link]

Chilean Mine Pictures.

Hurrah! I didn't follow all the news on that one: how did they survive down there? Did they have two months' worth of rations?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

There are happy dogs that expect a good thing to happen, and then there are others who seem to have a case of the gloomies. Dogs can be classified as optimists or pessimists the same as humans, according to research from a team led by Michael Mendl.

Heh. This is not news to me.

ETA: which is not to say she's not a happy dog. But she definitely looks at the world waiting for the other shoe to drop.
