Tracy: Well-- That call -- That call means you just murdered me. Mal: No, son. You murdered yourself. I just carried the bullet a while.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Things that are still going on, and of which I am tired: the endless summer of the South

Tell me about it.

$6000 worth of dental work! Yikes, that sounds like a nightmare.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

(My response to which was "OMG who DOES that?")

Tell her the 80s have been over for a long damn time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Coke never went away, in some circles.

Crap, I could use some coke right now (NOT REALLY). I am so sleepy, and am home from work, but have to go back out again! To go eat dinner in the dark with strangers. Why did I think this was a good idea?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Christina Hendricks is officially the most objectified woman I don't mind seeing be objectified.

That photoshoot is going to make The Boy pass out. It hits pretty much every goddamn one of his buttons.

(And more than a few of mine...)

brillig

Sigh. It does nothing for me expect to make me think, "Damn, that must be uncomfortable to stand in those positions while they're getting lighting and everything right."

Still stuck on Kinsey 0.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Me, too, Connie.

All I think when I look at those pics is that T&A will be nonexistent on a skinny me, if I ever get to a skinny me.

My body is weirdly shaped--apple figure, torso and calves too long, thighs too short. Oh, and my angle at my knee is askew to an abnormal level. Most women have a slightly higher point at the outside of the leg where the knee bends than on the inside, but mine is off by a full two inches.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Who could use a hefty dose of cute? My friend Cricket is a bunny rescuer, and she has been fostering a mama bunny with eight little babies the past couple of weeks. She asked me to come over and take some pictures for her to use on the adoption site...and the photo shoot was much more fun with props. This is the result. (I'm very impressed that she managed to come up with a story to weave all the random props together.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Kathy, your "new" body is going to be healthier and stronger and very very lovely. Know it.
