I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

have a pretty decent brown in Mac Photo,

I'll have to try that. I found my One True Brown in a cheap lipgloss that I bought from a random store one day when I'd left my makeup bag at home and had dinner plans.

Art Crawl!!!

Looks like Frontera does accept reservations but:

Though our dining room is mostly seated on a first come first serve basis, we take a limited amount of reservations for all size parties. For weekend please book 6-8 weeks out. Please call 312.661.1434 to check availability.

Liese, what I'd do is buy the colors you think will be good adn play with them. That's the best thing.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I don't know about that -- I love to eat spicy food, but my skin will burn for hours after chopping chiles, if I'm not careful.

Me too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And ask other people what they think! At least, that helps me. Whenever you can see makeup on me at all, I'm afraid I look like a hoor.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Hey Chicago-istas - does Frontera Grill take reservations?

I was just about to post what sumi did. So...yeah. Limited and you need them well in advance.

Make-up: I wear it when I leave the house. I spend less than 10 minutes on make-up. Usually more like 5. But, I'm pale with light hair and light eyes. I need some color, yo. As I've gotten older, I need a little more color than I used to. It's like the small amount of color I had in my skin and lips is disappearing.

I don't generally wear makeup to work, unless I have something after work. But that's mostly because I work alone and never see anyone. Back when I gave a fuck, I wore eyeliner, powder, and lipstick/gloss for every day. Sometimes a little eyeshadow if I had a meeting or presentation.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Whenever you can see makeup on me at all, I'm afraid I look like a hoor.

Including lipstick?

Well, I picked a good day to put on makeup.

First day with new doctor, WTF? She totally made me cry. Dammit. I don't like her. Doesn't mean she's wrong about her shit, but dammit, she totally assaulted me with Icy Hot. Which she can't smell, but I reek of now. She is very challenging. And very not very happy about my ER visits.

Well, lady, neither am I. But don't you dare judge me. She played her own chronic pain card, but lady, I don't care that you were up last night with a chronic pain episode. I'M HAVING ONE RIGHT NOW. I USUALLY AM. It's not a competition.

Erin--you were right about the sleep hygiene. Come Friday, no computer use two hours before bedtime. But I can watch TV. And she's switching me off Ambien onto a drug whose name I forget starting with a T.

She was just very stressy.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

It is rainy, rainy, rainy here. Apparently there is snow in higher elevations. I guess I need to look at changing the tires on my car.

The outside gloom had me turning on my fireplace (that is never not going to sound strange). The flickering flames are more comforting than I had expected.
