Oh la la, I am wearing makeup. Primer and brow pencil and brow wax (I could stand to replenish those, for sure) and eye shadow and about to hit up the lip gloss, and let me see if I have some mascara up in there somewhere.
I am stupefied by the amount of lipstick I own. I found an entire pouch of it I didn't know I had. I don't know what I'd been thinking.
msbelle, do you have a dislike for spicy/peppery-hot food? Because I wonder if the dislike is based on a physiological intolerance for capsaicin, which your skin shares.
Probably from before you found your OTL, Black Honey.
Nothing to see here.
Thanks for the link, tommyrot.
I'm not wearing makeup, but I am planning to get my lashes re-dyed. That, plus the occasional pedicure, is pretty much the extent of my beautification routine. My freshman year at college I wore a fair bit of makeup, but then I started doing tech theater and staying out until 3 am. An extra 20 minutes of sleep in the morning did more for my looks than concealer ever could.

I don't know about that -- I love to eat spicy food, but my skin will burn for hours after chopping chiles, if I'm not careful.

I had been trying to find a good bright red, dark brown, and a pink. I've decided there is no pink for me, and I haven't found a red out of a tube, but I can mix one up, and have a pretty decent brown in Mac Photo, which is the only other colour I'm likely to wear.
I also found a tube of Dior's Ultra Gloss Reflect, and for shits and giggles decided to put it on top of the Black Honey lip gloss. OMFG do I look bubble gum obscene. It's perversely fascinating. I'll make sure to blot it off before I get to work. I'm pretty sure this was to go on top of the bright red lip colour.
I can eat medium hot things and my tolerance has increased since adulthood. This is just odd. Skin looks fine, but feels like I pressed it into a hot iron and should be blistering.
Menthol simulates cooling the same way capsaicin does heat (ie, tricks the nerves) - if you have mint leaves or mint tea, maybe that would help?
