"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, that's the thing, I think. I don't think I'm serious enough to buy that big a collection, even in small sample sizes. But when I look up other kits and palettes, it's close to that price anyway. So I dunno.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah. Cost-wise it's a really good deal. I personally would not use much of it though.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I almost never bought big palette collections because I basically use too few colors.

I am wicked tired. Tomorrow, I have another round of observations. Luckily I proctored the SAT from my room so it's in decent shape. And I made posters of my standard sets and they are laminated, ready to be posted.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I always love the look of the blockbuster, but would never use most of the stuff.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

In terms of cost, that giant palette collection from Sephora is a great deal. But there are way too many colors in it I wouldn't ever touch.

I don't need to spend $25 on black lipstick, right? Even if the packaging is gorgeous. [link]

Because books.

It's the array that's so pretty, like a huge box of crayons. But I would never wear half of what's in there, either. I always wind up wearing the same few colors.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

What everyone else said. I have a big palette thingy and only use 2-3 colors if I want to mix it up when going out. Cuz my everyday colors are a different brand.

ETA: I still kinda covet the Sephora one though. That's a lot of colors!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That looks like it would be fun to play with.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

The reviews say it's smaller in size than the picture looks. It's advertised as travel size. But yeah, it's definitely big in quantity. Does it come with references so that I could buy full sizes of what I like, I wonder?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There's nothing I'm doing with 98 shades of eyeshadow. I can make do with four or five for a fancy night out. Less than that, given the nine eyeliners. 70 lipglosses is 69 more than I wear right now. But no lipstick. No rouge, No tools for taming my eyebrows. I want brow pencils.
