I don`t think I need a primer. My skin is pretty good from years of not wearing anything. I think I inherited it from my grandmother. I once asked her (in her eighties) how she still had such beautiful skin, expecting some Japanese answer, eating fish or something. Her answer? Pond`s cold cream. Hee. So that`s what I use.
 
I was looking at smashbox the other day. Maybe that`s the way I`ll go. But first, I`ll need to buy coffee. And the birdfeeding supplies. And the nail polish kit from Zoya. So that`s a lot of pay periods of spending money before I get around to makeup. And that`s all while still saving for my kayak.

I don't have it on TV, so I can only watch the play-by-play updates on NFL.com. Also, your husband was kind of alarmingly intense about it when I brought it up on FB the other day.

Hee, I know Dana! He`s not rational about the Colts` loss! But he just means it in that sports bravado way. Although I must say his sports trash-talk flaming is why I`ll never allow him over here. He`s a perfectly civil guy, but sports banter discourse expectations are, umm, somewhat at variance from our community standards over here.

I wonder if they could market it the way the Warner Brothers Archive does DVDs of OOP movies to-order, or Rhino's Handmade series.

There are a couple of companies out there that will "re-create" a discontinued color of lipstick or eye shadow. I tried it, and they got pretty close with the lipstick color. (Then I discovered that the original company still made my perfect color, but it was only available in the UK.)

Cosmetics is an EXTREMELY trend driven marker, maybe even more so than tech. If you follow it closely, hundreds of new products come out with giant ad campaigns each year, and maybe 3 or 4 of them have a 10 year life cycle. And that's just product lines, I'm not even counting individual colors.

Especially since the cosmetics industry figured out that if something is limited edition, people will go crazy trying to get it. Or will buy multiples to stockpile.

I'm just saying, no one's allowed to call them The Aints but those of us who lived through it. (Also, they were hardly "handed" that Super Bowl. Someone's still grumpy about the onside kick.)

Yeah, for sure. And seeing as how the onside kick came up repeatedly in conversation during the game against KC today, I`d have to say your assessment is correct.
