Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I feel that way every time I finish off an item completely.

Yeah, I think that's going to stick for a while.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It made me laugh, but confused me because it was from a MI area code, and I couldn't figure out how Aims would know.

Ha! I saw a camel the other day and thought of Aimee.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

My accomplishment today is detangling and combing 2/3 of one cat. And I watched a couple of episodes of tv from my Hulu queue.

I have to remember to go to the farmers' market tomorrow after work to see if someone has dried hibiscus, but I also want to get some strawberries, finally. I almost got some at TJ's today, but they weren't local.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I am sort of pleasantly jealous every time Nora reports on her adventures around New Orleans.

I've been writing most of the day and need to write some more. Feh. Tired of words.

I'm going to take a break to make the Italian Wedding Soup variation.

Alberta used to make fantastic cocktail using hibiscus and strawberries. In fact, I took a virgin one to JZ in the hospital the evening after she gave birth to Matilda.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am realizing the downside to living in a semi-fancy neighborhood: there's no bodega close by with cheap spices and dried hibiscus! I need some agua de jamaica. And paid a million dollars for cumin the other day.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have finally seen a census worker! I sent mine in but it was very confusing (because I lost one, and the address was slightly different (upper vs. #2).

I would just hve to say, as a census worker, perhaps you should wait a second after ringing the bell before walking away. By the time I panic because of the bell ringing, decide to answer, find clothes to put on, and get to the downstairs door, he was always gone. Today I went braless in my nightgown and he still was at another building and I had to wait for him to come back!

I am still afraid I have been counted twice.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

::high-fives Zenkitty::

I love us, too.

Jesse, that is sad about your coworker.

I'm watching Order of the Phoenix and I want to reach through the screen and strangle Umbridge. Loathsome nasty toadish vile miserable vomitous mass.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I just read today's posts and it is so lovely to read everyone's adventures, large and small. On Saturday I cleaned the house and had a barbecue for 25 people, which went late. Yesterday I cleaned after the party while J went out with a friend to help him buy a new car, did a ton of laundry and then went to see Flight of The Conchords at the Hollywood Bowl (Bret + Jermaine = AWESOME).

Today the only thing I did was go to the camera store and watch Jason spend a huge wad of money on a new camera. He has to take zillions of pictures of each car or bike he reviews and the sites he writes for now want video as well, so he got a camera which does that too. He is going to try it out on his motorcycle trip through Oregon this week. If anyone wants to meet men, a high-end camera store is the place to go, I tell you what.
