ION, I went shoe shopping this afternoon to find something to wear to the wedding. I realized as I was trying on shoes and looking at them in the mirror, that I have really ugly feet!

I've got very transparent pale skin and my veins look like a road map on most of my body, but the veins on my feet and hands look like fat purple worms! ugh! Wish I had comfy boots to wear! but it will be unseasonable warm so I'll be wearing new semi-flats.

My fall allergies usually last until the first frost, which means they could be over with as soon as tonight!

Wow, this drink is good.

I bought some fresh spearmint at the store and decided to do something with it and gin.

I muddled the spearmint leaves in the bottom of the glass with agave syrup and lemon juice. Filled the glass with ice. Shot of Bombay Sapphire. Topped with tonic and stirred.

It really looked beautiful too. Then I remembered, "I know I've had some kind of tasty dessert with fresh mint and blackberries, and I've got that homemade blackberry syrup I made the other day...."

So I added the blackberry and had immediate concocters remorse since the color wasn't as pretty. But I stirred it thoroughly and it tastes very delicious and unlike anything else I've had.

That sounds quite refreshing and delicious!

I don't really do "everyday" makeup. Nothing or dramatic, really.

I go through stages when I'll do full makeup, but right now I'm going in to work bare-faced most days. If I'm having a "bad face" day, I'll wear concealer, mascara, and lipstick.

You could probably get away with vodka in this because fresh spearmint, lemon and blackberry are strong enough flavors that the gin is less essential.

My neighbor across the hall apparently bought a new dog that barks constantly today. Tonight I have a migraine.And a dog whistle.

My friend was on a Blueberry Absolut and Sprite kick for a while. They were pretty good.

I don't like gin, but I imagine that would be pretty tasty with vodka, too.

I've loved makeup since about 5th grade, was a makeup artist at Lancome for a while, and I've gotten really fast at it. I like to take my time when I have it, but some medium gold shadow, dark green pencil liner, mascara and some Black Honey balm take about 3 minutes and makes a WORLD of difference in how awake and together I look.
