Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Calvin and Hobbes enter the Twilight Zone

The always awesome Super Punch recently ended its Calvin and Hobbes art contest, which attracted plenty of hilarious and heartwarming artwork. And the winners offer Calvinish takes on Batman, Spider-Man, and The Twilight Zone.

Each month, Super Punch holds an art contest on a different theme. For September, the theme was Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes, and artists offered their take on the classic comic strip. Calvin grew up. He died. He dressed up as He-Man, flew an X-wing, and fell in love with a Swedish vampire.

But the grand prize went to the team of Timothy Lim and Mark Pellegrini for their blend of Calvin and Hobbes with superheroes and horror.

More here: [link] (scroll down a bit).

That Calvin and Hobbes / Han Solo and Chewbacca t-shirt was for this contest.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Stephanie, all sorts of safety ~ma for Joe and his unit, and heaps of coping ~ma for you and the kids.

Echoing this!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Should be Simon Baker. What was that show with creepy ass Ray Liotta? Anyway, Simon Baker was on it and killing people in Hawaii and being creepily hot while he did it. Win-win.

Smith! With Jonny Lee Miller! And Virgina Madsen. That was a pretty show.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Why didn't I watch that? Huh.

OK, sometimes Dr. Google does help. I was having an allergy attack this morning, and then I noticed that my actual eyeball is puffy, and was sort of freaking out, but Dr. Google suggests it might be a normal reaction? But still, WTF.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ICP are evangelical Christians? WTF? Also, that's where "Fuckin' magnets, how do they work?" comes from? I feel so out of touch.

Crisp can be made by just throwing butter and brown sugar and granola on top of fruit, right? Cause that's just what I did.

As soon as it is out, I've got to go clean up my yard. Then swim then party.

I've heard that before, though I disremember where.
