"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Tots and chili sounds good.

I've served my chili over tots. It's good! Top with cheese and onions - woo hoo.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That would be good, but more than I really feel like. And I have GOT to eat my produce.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I got some boutique tomato sauce -- termed a Red Gravy -- at the Central Square Farmer's Market. It's like what Tomato Heaven must taste like.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Yesterday's farmer's market yeild - Pumpkin Butter, Strawberry-Rhubarb preserves, Blackbeary Juice (yes, spelled that way), and fresh made crepes (Kelly had Nutella-strawberry, I had Nutella-banana, and CJ had cheese-bacon). Oh, and after 4 weeks, I finally gave in and got some kettle corn.

My thigh and uh, other muscles are protesting my dancing from last night. It's only appearing now. I'm sure doing it in 4" heels didn't help. But so worth it, if only to see a ten year old completely rock out to Bad Romance. Hilarious!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I placed my first CSA order today, for pick up on Friday.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Thanks to Zenkitty, I got a ridiculous amount of stuff done, including washing 3 loads and putting away four. You are spared the full list since I'm on my iPhone.

Unfortunately I've run out of steam before getting done some of the most important things, so I'm hoping I get a second wind after a break and some dinner. It's amazing - despite all I've done, the negative voice in my head is trying to make me feel bad. Begone, foul dwimmerlaik!!!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Sparky, I'd love to send something to -t. So insent.

Kat! In packing yesterday I found 2 things that may be of interest to you. First, the pile of jeans I was supposed to send to you a while back and they ended up being out of sight and mind. Second, and perhaps more interesting, a portable nebulizer. DH's grandmother gave it to us when Brendon had breathing issues as a toddler. It was made in 1989, but I plugged it in for a few minutes to charge the battery and it works fine. It has likely been in the closet for more than a decade, but seems okay. Has the car and regular charger. Anyway, it is yours if you want it. I am leaving it in my car so I won't forget to take it to the office to mail.

OH! Laura, both would be great. We just bought the portable nebulizer thanks to a super kind and generous Buffista, but a back up is not a bad thing.

We went blueberry picking this morning. Blueberries, hands down, are the Best pick-your-own fruit because the blueberry bushes have no thorns and they are so obviously ripe. Blueberries in SoCal are an oddity of sorts, but I went OCD and picked 3.25 pounds, which means Blueberry Preserves will be made (as soon as I buy sugar). We can also freeze some for Grace's blend because she is NOT allergic to blueberries or yogurt. (Please to explain a lactose sensitive but okay with both ice cream and yogurt).

I also put the winter clothes up and moved some of the skinny clothes back into my closet. I'm comfortably in size 8 now and snug in size 6. WHEEE! I had a lot of skinny clothes, including shorts and pants. It's like a brand new wardrobe.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Quiet you, negative voice! The smonster is rocking right now!

So my big achievement for today is that I showered and dressed. And then, watching how doughnuts are made decided I needed doughnuts. So the SO took me on a grand expedition to the grocery where I procured custard filled bismarcks. That`s the first I`ve been out in over a week and it was exhausting. I am now back in bed and coughing, but I am so happy to have escaped the house if ever so briefly.
