So I'm sort of drive-by posting here because I really should have been in bed an hour ago, but I posted yesterday in delurking that I was 75% sure I had a job on a cruise ship?

MAKE THAT 100%! Princess Cruises just hired me!!!!

I love my job right now, I really do (substitute teacher), but I am so so so so so excited about this!!!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Fun, zuisa! Have a great time.

zuisa, what will you be doing?

No shaming. Grace is on her own schedule no one has shared (we wait for grace), it's nice (unless it it the terrible xs) that she is ah, up there with here age group. In their terrors. Sorta.

Hey, Grace, think you can skip some of the other terribles? For maybe a decade? I think your mothers can handle the teens blindfolded.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I've been rewatching Buffy on iTunes. My god, it still holds up so well. Breaks my heart how much I loved that show.

Derby practice tonight. I wish I could jump higher.

Junior Assistant Cruise Director. So, basically greet people, mingle at social events, host karaoke and trivia games, man the library, give people directions. That sort of thing. I won't be starting until (I think) January, which is great, so I can sub for the rest of the semester, not have to drop out of the play I am in now, and spend Christmas with my family.

Kat, I have not yet. Money scooting issues (as in "I had a freakout!) It'll happen though.

okey doke. I'm bummed that I missed the kids.woot.com today of the Little Lab experiments. I think Noah would love the cranes one.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Hanna Andersson is like kids' clothes porn. It's very distressing. And expensive.

Think of it as supporting the local economy. Well, *my* local economy. Which I feel is still valid.

At preschool, Noah's teacher writes an accident report out whenever he has an accident, like bumping his head or getting hit with a door or falling off the wall.

I am so glad that this does not carry through once you are an adult. I'd be accused of being a hoarder. Or very good at recycling.
