Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I like a steak medium rare, and I enjoy a good carpaccio.

I would be very leery of chicken tartare, though.

Tuna ceviche, though, I love. All the lime, yay!

Do they make fatty tuna ceviche? That would be so good. I could eat my weight in toro, and I don't even think what we get in the Midwest is probably all that fab in comparison to the coasts.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

We looked at water purifiers, backpacks and mosquito nets today. Finalizing hotels and shacks on the beach this week. Holy crap! I AM ACTUALLY GOING TO INDIA IN A LITTLE OVER A MONTH!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My family has boiled custard at Christmas, which seems to be peculiar to middle Tennessee. It's milk, eggs and sugar cooked on a low heat until it thickens, then chilled. It's served with bourbon and sometimes vanilla extract, and each person spikes it to their own preference.

Oh that sounds om nom nom.

I loved beef carpaccio. And I, too, could eat my weight in toro.

hip deep in pie

Oz has developed some annoying new litterbox habits. He's been pooping in one box and peeing in the other. If the poop box is at all dirty, as it was today, he poops on the floor, even though the otehr box is near empty. He's a weirdo.

You know what Natter hasn't had recently? Baby pandas.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Gaiman is on stage tweeting. I'll be in the background of the crowd picture he posts.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Scola, were you holding a camera up? Because I think I just found you in Gaiman's twitterpic.
