What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

veggie chili if it's made with corn

Oh, WHEW. I've been considering adding corn, but I didn't since I wasn't going to be eating it. And I made sure none of the ingredients had corn syrup anyway because...there's no reason it should be in there.

Oh, I`m so glad you guys are able to sit shiva. I`ve been thinking about her constantly and I`m so glad you are going. I feel represented in our board support.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I am glad, too. I will be sending a card.

ETA: That's good to know about the kosher stuff. I tend to err on the side of caution and formality when observing religious practices.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Me too, if I haven't actually said that.

Librarian Warlord

I'm grateful that Perkins, Matt, Beth and JZ (and any other localistas I missed) have been able to visit with -t.

We are having a relatively quiet day, because K has a fever which has made her listless. I took the dog for a hike and she is now flopped out underneath one of the AC vents.

A little peaceful passing ~ma in the direction of upstate NY would not be misplaced. Sox and my Uncle S. is home after more than two months in the hospital under Hospice care. Neither Sox nor I are particularly close to this uncle, so I don't think we need any consideration, but his family, and our fathers, do.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

and veggie chili if it's made with corn.

Wow, I wondered why I left the corn out of my usual recipe last night. I swear I reached for it and put it back about three times.

Pickles pickled. Laundry started. Spinach washed. Need to wash my dress (it got completely soaked) but not with this load.

Also glad the locals can reach out to -t.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Peaceful passing ma to Uncle S, Sparky, and all around -ma to your family

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yes, thank you all. I wish I could be there or do something.
