"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm so glad, David. This is going to be so good for all of you.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

If something's egregiously wrong, I'll send it back, but I have done this maybe three times. And I am nice. It's not the waiter's fault that the cook got it wrong.

And yes, ita, as a former waitperson, someone who asked me to bring out a selection of spices would have politely have been told that was not an option. And it would have pissed me off. Has she ever been to France and done that? I really wonder what the reaction would be?

Granted, I didn't work at some schmancy restaurant, but if you are that particular about your food's spicing, you should probably cook at home.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Also, for some reason when they calculated our payment they added on some extra discount, so we're paying even less than already cheap amount they'd figured.

Woohoo!!! Glad to hear things are going even more your way.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm so glad, David. This is going to be so good for all of you.

The drop in JZ's stress level has been noticeable as we're not scraping by each month to the end of the paycheck.

Glad to hear things are going even more your way.

Don't jinx me!

I need to take some pictures of her school. It's a really fun space.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Has she ever been to France and done that?

Being in France wouldn't stop her. She doesn't want to pay for food she doesn't like. She's pretty adamant about that. If cash is coming out of her pocket, she wants to find a way to make it tasty.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Go team socialism!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Education should be (truly) free, schools should be cathedals and good teachers treated like rock stars.

Yeah, I'm a socialist.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Brazilian blowouts use high amounts of formaldehyde. I'm stunned by the high amount of emotion in the comments.

Not to mention all the shaming of the women who choose to have the formaldehyde treatment. WTF? I'm amazed at people who call themselves feminists who are 100% behind a woman's right to do what she wants with her body...as long as "what she wants" is reproductive-related. (And even then, that's kind of narrowly defined. Abortion? A woman's right? Give birth? A woman's right -- *IF* it isn't a multiple birth like the octuplets or the Duggars.) Anyway, it's cool to control your reproduction but god forbid you want to change your hair. Then you're all up in the patriarchy, collaborating and shit.

Whatever.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I for one do not want people handing out drugs to the teachers and throwing under-things at them during lessons. Please take note of this difference between Cash and myself.

Not even ibuprofen?

and throwing under-things at them during lessons.

How about gift certificates to Wacoal?
