What? She killed 'em with mathematics. What else could it have been?

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

You should get yourself a Girl Scout troop.

Can you do that if you were never a Girl Scout?

Anyway, I work at a toy store now, which means I get to see my kids from my old job occasionally, and also a lot of really cute babies and toddlers. I'm just not sure I'm actually that good a fit for retail.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I had to kill a spider that climbed out of the CSA lettuce bag as I was putting away stuff. I was very mature about it. I didn't shriek or run around the kitchen flailing my hands, but somehow I doubt I'll show that kind of restraint if I find another one.

I made a ton of cauliflower curry. It was delish, but my left hand is still burning from slicing serrano chiles. You would think I would learn and buy gloves, but no.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Can you do that if you were never a Girl Scout?

Yeppers. It's totally awesome and you could pick an age range - littles or older girls - and it looks awesome on resumes and stuff.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

OMG. You know when you forget that changing the angle you're looking at the TV from won't change what you can actually see? Severe Boris Kodjoe alert.

I hear Undercovers is having ratings problems. Sadface.

So, I doubt any of you remember me - I posted a bit in the beginning of July, I was living in China, and then I moved home, and now I'm here and I spent a couple months do lots and lots with my family and now I find myself online all the time again. But I'm hoping to post again here, because you all seemed like really fun people!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Hi zuisa! I remember you, you were living in Harbin.
