Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Oh, man. Good wishes to those that need them.

I was going to come in here and complain, but now I feel sort of petty.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"Free reign" is a given

Tell that to Queen E. It's totally not.

Okay, guys, I'm not sure I can take this anymore. My roommates have a puppy, and she is a very cute puppy, but she barks nonstop, for hours, whenever she's left alone. Literally, she has been barking for the last four hours, and I just want to go to bed. Augh.

Crate her? Bring her to bed with you? Treat in a kong? Wax earplugs?

It's nice to see you again, Holli, even if you are being driven mad.

Basically, it's a matter of waiting for my roommates to get home. Which they had better do soon.

I have been having... a moderately rough several weeks, I would say. It's soothing to be back here.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Holli, can you get your roommate to consider a bark collar for at night to train the dog not to bark?

That is an excellent question! Upon googling, bark collars look a little too much like something Dr. Walsh would employ for my personal confort, but maybe there's a less operant-conditiony option?
