I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I have woken up.

And am watching the French Open.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I got clothes put away, stuff neatened a bit, and read a couple of chapters. Also furminated the cats as much as they allowed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm watching leftover Shark from last night's ION marathon. I liked that show!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I love the Smonster/Zenkitty mutual phone support team.

More coffee is happening - huzzah!

JZ's taking Matilda to go out and sit shiva with -t. I'm sending along some vegetarian chili.

Our wings are not tired.

Watching tennis, kinda. Mostly unpacking. I packed a bunch of boxes at the old house yesterday and am doing tons of laundry and putting things away. Too much stuff.

Kat! In packing yesterday I found 2 things that may be of interest to you. First, the pile of jeans I was supposed to send to you a while back and they ended up being out of sight and mind. Second, and perhaps more interesting, a portable nebulizer. DH's grandmother gave it to us when Brendon had breathing issues as a toddler. It was made in 1989, but I plugged it in for a few minutes to charge the battery and it works fine. It has likely been in the closet for more than a decade, but seems okay. Has the car and regular charger. Anyway, it is yours if you want it. I am leaving it in my car so I won't forget to take it to the office to mail.

Back to unpacking. I have taken swimming breaks a couple times. This laundry and unpacking thing works up a sweat.

Give -t all of our love and support.

I'm switching back and forth between watching the NCIS marathon and Band of Brothers. BoB hasn't gotten to the really good eps yet--they're only on the ep with Blythe, who suffers from battle fatigue and fear--so it's more NCIS right now.

Also, I have to clean up my bathroom and cook up some brownies for work tomorrow.

Send hugs. She is in my thoughts and prayers.

The wedding sounds like it was a blast. Want to see pictures of the pinup girl!

Punishingly Intricate

Did super hot yoga this a.m. and it felt awesome. Wish I could manage to yoga every day. Just had some lunch and am about to gear up to clean bathrooms and sort out my clothing situation. Later walking with friend and new dog and the ln drinks on another friend's porch!

My cat is driving me bonkers today. She's been in whiny restless meowy cat mode ever since the rain started about 9:00 this morning. She just knocked few books onto the floor so she could lay down on some plastic bags I have sitting there, and is looking at me and mutter-meowing in a very needy way that I cannot interpret.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Dammit, I am also bringing her some vegetarian chili! She's going to have a lot of chili. (Now I'm even more glad I only made a batch instead of a vat.)
