Wow, he makes a very credible drag queen. I wish they'd used him instead of Stephen Dorf as Candy Darling.
James has the bone structure for it. Dorff in drag is pretty much the same as Bruce McCulloch from the Kids in the Hall.
I think I'd say "the synagogue I grew up in." I'd probably then make a confused face and say, "I mean ... you know what I mean," because I can't think of any better phrase.
I don't know, my town had the Irish Catholic church and the Polish Catholic church (although the only question that mattered was whether you went to the 1st Congregationalist or not).
I grew up in a pretty small, pretty homogenous town. But we did have a Polish Catholic Church. At the rest of them the highland Scots were predominant.

HAR!

Ha! You're right.
I wasn't sure if "the church I grew up in" referred to the specific church or the religion, though I guess that would be capitalized (is that something non-Catholics do?). I might use that phrase to mean either, though. I wouldn't think it was unusual, hearing it, but I might be befuddled as to actual meaning for a moment, depending on context.
I'm a little worried about the neighbor whose plants I've been taking care of. I think she was supposed to be back by now and she's not. Given the shenanigans on her past few trips (passports getting switched in a third world country and requiring the local embassy higher ups flying back to get her passports, haitian "flu" almost hospitalizing her- and she's a pro at this, she ran a program in Iraq in the early stages, burqas and all) I'm hoping this trip to Africa didn't contain drama.

Man, I just...
Yeah, no.
That eyeshadow is hideous. (I would say that about it on anyone, man, woman, crossdresser, Kang, Kodos, Ent, or pet rock.)
Nice gloves, though.
t edit I get that drag queens are aping and exaggerating the stylized image of femininity. Franco's not going for a tasteful PTA look there. But I still don't like it. (I don't like the general drag queen genre, actually.) (And, of course, they're not dressing for me, so it doesn't really matter if I like it or not.)
