Hi! I follow the awesome that is Holli elsewhere on the interwebs, but it is good to see your pixels here!

In non-food news, at least T.I. does some legitimately good things in between being incarcerated.... [link]
I'm glad you like the blog! I have spent so much time thinking about clothes lately that it really seemed like I should write some of it down, else the thoughts were wasted.
T.I.
And you know I heard that song on the radio today and could not stop singing along. His wife? terrifying.
I know it's too late to be eating, but I didn't have supper. SO cheese and chips, baby!
Nice blog Holli!
I fear for Loki's predatory skills. We have a cricket-spider thing in residence. So far he's following it a lot and making lot of noise, but not DOING anything about it. He may bat it to death.
Oops, spoke to soon, he's squished it to death by pure accident and can't figure out why it isn't so fun anymore. May he not be like Devi and bring me the carcass to reanimate...
His wife? terrifying.
She's been on reality shows, right? I haven't seen them, but my friend has Opinions.
Ooh, they are having Patrick Stewart in MacBeth on Great Performances this week! t /PSA
just from that pic, I am saying terrifying.
I told the people in my sunday school class today that I was judgy mcjudgerpants and I don't think they believed me. silly people.
Does anyone know how to block individual users on Youtube? Olivia just told me that Alfred was Batman's bitch. I need to block one certain maker of Lego videos or else keep Owen and Olivia off Youtube indefinitely.
Oofdah, long but good day.
Rained this morning which put Matilda's birthday party in GG Park in jeopardy. Then it cleared up. Then the fog came in cold and gray.
We took the field. Set up and were ready to greet people at the appointed time. Three boys from Matilda's preschool showed up and Emmett ran them in circles and we played Catch the Balloon.
More folks trundled in and it was time for me to get the pizzas. Five large pizzas - a big order! The tunnel from the park to the Haight was closed! Circuitous route, long walk back, people shouting from their cars, "Hey, your cheese is going to slide off!" because of my tilting the boxes.
They were right.
Despite my slightly slumped pizzas they were mostly all et up. Emmett played the Pied Piper with gusto and had all the kids chasing him through the entire playground, laughing like loons.
We brought out the cake JZ made - beautifully decorated with her icing-drawn unicorn (with a golden horn). I instructed everybody to sing really really quietly. Like little mice. Because Matilda didn't like people singing "Happy Birthday" too loud. So they sang quietly and she only cried because the wind blew out her candles.
All in all, a big improvement on last year's panic stricken fleeing the scene of the birthday party when people sang to her.
Presents, fun, lots of people showing up.
Clean up and friends join us back at home where we watch the Giants win the muthafuckin' NL West! WOOOOOOO! Very exciting. Emmett almost high fived my hand off on Posey's homer.
Drove Emmett back to EM's house, Matilda napping on the way over. Hung out for an hour while Emmett played his new video game (Blazing Angels - WWII flight simulator).
Birthday party: Success!
Giants: Success!
Leftovers: Too many liters of soda! But still a success.
In conclusion: So very tired.
