Can I join the convoy to LA and ita's ER? There's some things I want to say to the staff there. ita, I'm beyond appalled that you should be regularly at the mercy of random doctors' comfort level with treatment of severe pain you live with daily, and of which they'll never have a good personal grasp. I'm sort of on board with Scola's plan. In fact I'd be excited to be a part of it.
My whole intent this week was to spend today clearing my desk and updating my paper planner and journals. And still? On the sofa with the laptop, surfin' the netz.
Laundry done, carrot cake in oven. Cleaning not done. Meh.
My errands got done.
So far, the cleaning has not, but it's only noon here.

I can't believe how awesome it is having an oven that is reliably the right temperature. Recipes take as long as they say they will! Really, I should say that I can't believe I lived for five years in a place where the oven door didn't shut all the way.
I am tempted to take a nap and wake up when the football game is over.
I'm with those who want to make a road trip to L.A.
I still can't help wonder whether either legal action or press coverage might change the attitude in the ER.
