Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I don't want to beat the shit out of them, I want to attach electrodes to their heads, and keep upping the voltage until they recalibrate their notions of what a “10” is.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good call. I think we'll be able to come up with a lot of ideas on the way.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Noise, Dana. At least that's the theory offered by the announcers.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Noise, Dana. At least that's the theory offered by the announcers.

Huh. Okay. Don't get me started on the fumble.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

ita, is there any way you can use a patient liaison to ensure ER staff follow your instructions on file?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I was wondering the same thing. I mean, what Erin said is pretty right on.

ION, fucking Cleveland Browns.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Done with 3 things on my list, and on to make chicken soup in a bit.

My allergies are killing me; they always do when I clean (dust and pet hair.) I popped a Claritin this morning; if I took another one, would it help a little?

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

That's horrible, ita. I hope you're able to find a competent empathetic medical professional soon.

not your mom's socks.

ita holy crap that nurse. Is there any way you can show up with legal representation? Wolfram & Hart?

Eta - I mean occasionally those guys could have had a righteous client, right?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

is there any way you can use a patient liaison to ensure ER staff follow your instructions on file?

I don't think so. Today's nurse was pretty clear in telling me that no matter what worked or didn't work, or what my specialist did or didn't actually recommend, each nurse or doctor was proscribed by their comfort zone.

They often fall back to "what your file says" but...apparently it hasn't been updated since January (despite my doctor calling a couple weeks ago), and they contradict themselves about what's in it, and then they say they can't do it if they don't want to.
