Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Got two drawers of stuff down to one not full drawer of papers that need filing. Progress.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I have had a wonderful day! We walked up to Cafe Brazil for brunch with our travel agent friend and his best friend, worked out some of the details of our India trip. We now have a schedule, train itenerary, and 2 hotels and a tour.

Then, I was going to clean, but Jon walked down to the park to watch the flyover for the TX-OU game and texted me to blow off house work and meet him because the day is pretty and I am too.

Next we walked up to the pawn shop where he bought me a custom shiny, red, fixed gear bike. It even has a cute little bell on the handle and white wall tires. If you are a fb friend go check it out.

Later, we are going to pick up some series and come home, watch those and do mani/pedis. Then mexican food at the Blue Goose up the street for dinner and maybe a late night ride.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh god, the Giants are sucking donkey dick. They're pissing away the post season with their hacktastic ways.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ouchies. I just burnt my arm on the oven door. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. That plus pulling my hamstring yet again...I need bubble wrap.

Ouch!

Oh, I had one big disappointment at the Goodwill -- someone with basically my exact taste had apparently donated a lot of stuff recently, but she's a size too big for me! 90% of the things I pulled off the racks must have been hers.

I shred those stupid checks credit cards send. And the bills when I go through them. Which I should. I don't want to talk about what my work table looks like. I need a better system. May attempt something tomorrow. We'll see.

I'm gonna finish up with the last post tonight. Then all (ahahaha!) I have left to actively strip are the last 19 spindles. I'll have to switch gears to stain removal and sanding.

On for tomorrow: swim, hit the hardware store for sandpaper, touch up paint and something to lift the stain. Then another load of laundry, manicure and maybe that work desk. And I may bleach down the deck. Oh and another trip to the grocery store for sweetener since I forgot it today.

I also need some more sweaters, but eh, I don't think I can fit shopping into there.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I shred those stupid checks credit cards send.

You can opt out of those. I did it years ago and it cuts down on junk mail substantially, not to mention the inherent risk. I can't remember how, but I'm sure it's googleable.

I have gone two years without using any credit cards. Still working on paying off all the debt I got in the divorce.

I need to get up and get cooking, but that would take movement.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

because the day is pretty and I am too.

Dawww.

Yeah, I shred it all and I am also unlisted. Although that is irrelevant now that the phone company won`t come out here, and we are mobile phone only people. I need to do the opt out of credit card thing, if only for the ecological value. Chase really really would like for me to have a credit card with them. But no!

So after bitching about not wanting to quit my part time job, today we a) completed (once again) our baby emergency fund and b) I once more had exactly one student. For an eight hour day if you count the commute. So yeah. Quitting is the right decision, although my one student cried at hearing about it. Sadcakes! But she`ll do well with Dave and I just can`t justify coming in for just one lesson.
