Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Oh, Zenkitty, that sucks. And yet, sounds disturbingly familiar.

I'd combine your approach (not to think about it) with smonster's (a drink and a relaxing whatever on the porch).

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Zen, you're totally invited over!!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I am cooling off with a drink and a smoke on the porch.

I'm going the same thing! But yours should come with an extra helping of "not my problem anymore. Bitch."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Congrats and good luck, Kathy! That's major.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My real task for the weekend is DVR clean-up! Now I'm catching up on Ellen, and LL Cool J is giving his parenting philosophies on raising kids with money not to be spoiled. "Super Sweet 16?? Get in there and wash those dishes!" Hilarious.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay, Kathy! That's good news!

Very good news, Kathy! Happy for you!

Have cramps. Just how I wanted to spend my evening. Ah well, most I was planning was to start stripping the last of the post and sitting on the couch reading. Now I'll just amend it to apply alcohol.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just averted a fairly major PR catastrophe come Monday morning, and my boss isn't even here for me to tell about it. Plus I got a schooling in DNS.

I think I have earned my weekend. Time to leave.

I'm watching Undercovers, and ita, isn't this the show where you complained about the music cue? It reminds me that I was surprised to hear this Haitian music last weekend, because it sounded a lot like Dominican music. Which, sure, same island, so it maybe shouldn't have been so surprising, but there you go.
