Did I mention being on the roof in a rainstorm?? A pitched roof? Ladders are the least of my concern.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ladders are the least of my concern.

Gravity is a harsh mistress. And it's a lot more certain than lightning.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Ian Anthony Dale: call me. SRSLY.

Inorite? I have a cousin in the cast and I've told him that if Ian is ever in NYC without dinner plans HE SHOULD GIVE ME A CALL.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Ladders are the least of my concern.

I just had a full-sensory flash back to my early adolescence: standing at the back door of our house, one hand on the phone, while I watched my Dad climb up a pine tree so he could re-adjust his ham radio antenna. In a windstorm. I couldn't convince him not to do it, but I was ready to call 911 if needed.

(He never fell. Yes, he did this trick more than once.)

OMG, I'm watching tonight's Private Practice, and...I just... want to shoot somebody over this transwoman storyline. Like, sure, maybe she's got unrealistic expectations of how awesome life will be after surgery...but IT WILL STILL BE BETTER. For fuck's sake--denying her surgery is just assholic. Do you really think she's going to suddenly decide "OH! I want my DICK! cutting it off would be WRONG!" Um, no.

And then the other stuff was just annoying too (did they steal the autistic marajuana son storyline from an article in Slate?). I got sucked back into watching Private Practice last year? I think. And enjoyed for a while, but after the ending last season, and the nonsense with just...all the characters, really.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Speaking of TV Catchup, who saw last night's Criminal Minds?

I guess the writers were pissed about the women leaving too. JJ and Garcia's goodbye scene was rough, but you could tell there was real anger behind it. I loved JJs line about there being big strong men around for the studio suits Garcia, so she wouldn't miss JJ.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Wait, Nikita's started already? I was thinking about giving that a try.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, msbelle, I finally watched that Wayne Brady Every Little Step I Take. Rough! Also, Wayne Brady eating in bed = my ex in a creepy way.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The SFFD has its own ladder shop.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

My weekend can start now. Just got observed by the principal, think it went well. Relieved and feel like I can relax now! Yay!
