(but I still love MY HOUSE. Just glad it is something I can fix. The gurgle and whoosh of water when I cleared the drain was satisfying. As was peering over the edge to see the gush of water come out the spout.)
This morning as I was leaving, I thought
ought to check the porch gutter, haven't looked in a bit, and the rain surely brought down more leaves.
But I was dressed and pretty and in a morning rush, and I didn't. Sigh. It'll dry.
Tv catchup, Parenthood:
Joel looked
totally hot when he
was building that desk.
IJS.
And you had a cat on the chair.
I know, but it would have been funnier right in the middle of shit.
Ugh, that reminds me, our gutters are CLOGGED. Another thing on the fall to-do list. Do we even HAVE a ladder?
Ian Anthony Dale: call me. SRSLY.
CLEAR THOSE GUTTERS! I don't really have real gutter, just bathtub roofs with exit points. Single points of failure. Usually good but for leaves on the porch or ice dams.
I need to make a second check. I got most of the leaves, but there were still more floating in the soup.
Second foray to the roof, all is clear. I wore my raincoat this time. Still soaked.
I think...I think I need to read electronically. I'm in the flush of new purchase and there's no good fic in my current niche right now (I'm a bit behind in Inception), sure, but I'm almost done my first book on my Nook.
Do we even HAVE a ladder?
As of today, I can assure you that Home Depot's prices on 8' ladders beat those of Loews.
Good to know, all. Thanks.
